Answer #1

a = mg - mg m, tmz = 47.4*9.8)–6-3*4*9.8) 4 + 7.4 - 5.33mls T =) m₂g-T=mza T = m₂ (g-a) - 7.4 (9.8-5.33) 33.08 Ntension equation not available. I used an appropriate equation for finding tension on seeing the equation of acceleration .(hope this makes sense)

B)is same as that of first equation given. If the values plugged are same then acceleration is also same.1, 2,)а - m, 4 – km, а a = m, 9- km, а mitmz - 5.33 ms-

Now acceleralin és în ceased by 35%, So, new a = 5.33+ (5.33x0.35)=7.2m13 म so] 7.2= mag-um, 9.8 m !_(0.3x4x9.8) m, tm ttm₂

If we want to double the acceleration we should add more mass on the hanging part. But it's impossible.. normal acceleration is 5.33m/s2. Doubled acceleration is 10.66m/s2. Give this value to the above equation. We well get a negetive mass on the hanging part, which is impossible. If so we will be forced to increase the value of acceleration due to gravity on surface of earth .whcih is not possible.
