6. The area of a circle is πd2/4 where d is the diameter of the circle.

The area of 2 large pizzas ( of diameter 35cm) is 2* π*(352/4) = 1225π/2 =612.5 π sq. cm. and the cost of 2 large pizzas is $ 19.99 so that the cost per sq. cm of a large pizza is $ 19.99/612.5 π = $ 0.032636734/ π .

The area of 3 medium pizzas ( of diameter 30cm) is 3* π*(302/4) = 675π sq. cm. and the cost of 3 medium pizzas is $ 24.99 so that the cost per sq. cm of a medium pizza is $24.99/675π = $ 0.037022222/π.

Therefore, ordering 2 large pizzas rather than 3 medium pizzas makes better sense.

The costs per sq. cm will remain same even if additional pizzas are ordered.
