answer is option (a). since the compounds CaCl2 , CH3COOH and water all are polar compounds. " like disolves like". so all polar compounds will dossolve in water so their bonds will disrupt. But dodecane H3C(CH2)10CH3 is a non-polar molecule and doesnot disolve in water and ther bonds will remain.
