Freedom of expression is everybody's right. But expressions like satyagraha is more right way to express their feelings. If we express violence mode that's will causes or that may be happen another crime. Most of time the violence model expression is not fair in the world.

If a leader advice the protesters to express violance model that will causes huge problem that will happen many other problems.

Here one of Protester climbed upon the roof of a car and starting protesters to let's torch the courthouse. It's a violence model expression if they torch court their expression may be happened worth less. And if he thinks violence is best way to expression their feelings that is his mis thinking problem. So I believe the charges are appropriate.
