What does this youtube gray icon mean? I clicked on a video and it said something like "connecting to..." if I remember correctly. See the picture for the icon that I'm talking about.

You may be having a video streaming issue like problem in connecting to server.That's all I know because I have not ever seen such icon myself.If you are getting this error regularly you can try restarting the YouTube app or your mobile phone/PC.
