Answer #1

1. D) Delphi technique avoids face-to-face interactions. Surveys and questionnaires are sent out to the group and their anonymous responses are aggregated. In all other methods we have small group discussions that have face to face interaction.

2. D) Conceptual skills provide the ability to a person to see how the organization acts as one unit and how different parts work with each other.

Human skills are the ability to develop and observe interpersonal skills in an organization. Technical skills are the skills required to get the job done in the organization. For example - Knowledge of a programming language

3. A) Operations management - This involves designing operations efficiently to meet customer demands, avoid stockouts and also keeping the inventory low.

4. A) Brainstorming - In this method ideas are floated around however they are not evaluated to select alternatives or criticized by the group.

In devils advocacy, we do the exact opposite and each idea is critically evaluated. In the Delphi technique, we float around a questionnaire and generate ideas anonymously.
