The time we grew up is very different from what our parents experienced.Iam an adult now,but as an adolescent i was going through a different period of learning.Coming from a different etnic background,going out after 9 pm is not very well accepted.As an adolescent life would begin only after 9 pm.The interaction with friends,exposure to alchohol with limit and going on group vacations was such.My parents were brought up in a very rigid society where they would return from school escorted,have their friends had to come home,drinking was taboo and watching movies were a luxury,no cell phones or other social platforms.Parents were not exposed to risk of substance abuse,had good interaction with people around them ,health life style brought about good psychological development.
