Answer #1

for simple linear regressior Y^=a+b*X=-0.47+0.82X

a=(sum(y)*sum(x2)-sum(x)*sum(xy))/(n*sum(x2)-(sum(x))2)=-0.47

b=(n*sum(xy)-sum(x)*sum(y))/ (n*sum(x2)-(sum(x))2)=0.82

s.n. x y x2 y2 xy

2 5 3 25 9 15
3 2 1.5 4 2.25 3
4 7 6 49 36 42
