Answer #1

DeMorgan's theorem come in 2 forms.

DeMorgan’s theorems state the same equivalence in “backward”.

DeMorgan’s rules/forms:

  • (A+B)’ = A’B’
  • (AB)’ = A’ + B’

(AB)' isn't equivalent to A'B' and (A+B)' isn't equivalent to A'+B'. Since the "prime" symbol (') can't be extended more than two factors or variables like a bar can, we are compelled to utilize brackets to cause it to apply to the entire term AB in the past sentence.
