Fraction of program which is parallelizable = 0.6

=> Fraction of program which can't be parallelized = 1 - 0.6 = 0.4

=>Speedup= 1/((1-p) +p/n)

Here, p = Fraction of program which can be parallelized

And n = number of processing cores=4

=> Speedup=1/(0.4+0.6/4) = 1/0.55 = 1.81

Max speedup = 1/(1-p) = 1/0.4 = 2.5
