a). Expected Return = =1 [Weight(i) * Return(i)]

= [0.25 * 20%] + [0.25 * 15%] + [0.25 * 11%] + [0.25 * 2%]

= 5% + 3.75% + 2.75% + 0.50% = 12.00%

b). Expected Return = =1 [Weight(i) * Return(i)]

= [0.52 * 20%] + [0.14 * 15%] + [0.16 * 11%] + [0.18 * 2%]

= 10.4% + 2.1% + 1.76% + 0.36% = 14.62%
