According to Richard Schmidt's Schema theory, for a movement or action to occur, the need of some generalized rules stored in memory is needed which will direct the spatial and temporal muscle reactions. Schmidt's theory took into account some hypothesis, among which one important hypothesis is that when an action is practised in diverse ways, there are more chances of that action or experience been stored as a Schema.
