briefly explain What is the purpose of using a drying agent like sodium sulfate?
During aqueous and organic extraction process, which will form two layer.
In which Organic compounds are soluble in organic solvent and separated. During this separation of the organic solvent layer from the mixture of solvents (aqueous and organic), some traces of aqueous solution will come along with the Organic solvent. To remove these traces of aqueous part, a drying agent like sodium sulfate was added. It will absorb the traces of the aqueous solution from organic layer and it will form its corresponding hydrated salt (Na2SO4.xH2O).

What types of bonds are present in Sodium laureth sulfate? Is Sodium laureth sulfate an electrolyte? Explain.
When using a drying agent to remove residual water from the organic liquid, how do you judge when enough drying agent has been added? O Enough drying agent has been added to completely absorb all of the organic compound so no liquid remains. O Athin layer of particles that look very similar to the original particles are freely moving around the flask when swirled. O Particles of drying agent are clumped together and stuck to the sides of the flask....
