Answer:

Definition of Agile: This is the speedy approach of software development methodology with the collaborative approach with take inputs from project team, cross functional teams, customers, and end users. This breaks the project in smaller phases and completes them quickly.

It help companies to execute the project development speedily and effectively as it uses the speedy approach and more collaborative approach for better project solution and execution.

This is used for software development type of projects. Yes for the IT and software industry, it can help more than others.

I think this can be used for all type of projects. Because this is a project management methodology and it can be applied at any project for its execution.

The difference between Agile and traditional project management is that agile adapt new approach of project management where it have high collaborative efforts and small phases so that more focus can be achieved and the project can be executed speedily. Traditional project management has its own ways of execution. It has lower collaborative approach and its phases are of longer length and it runs slowly.

Lately, a lot of organizations have been talking about going to “Agile.” This means they will be adapting the agile methodology of project management in their business.

They will be using the Agile methodology for all things at the company to the extent possible and surely for the IT related projects. Again Agile is the methodology and it can be applied at various projects depending upon the scope of the project and target benefits from the project.

We can use Agile to enhance any project by adapting the agile methodology and project management process. It will help for speedily execution of the projects and will deliver better solution for the project. Yes, If we can’t use all of it, but we could use parts of it for the extent possible for our projects.
