2. Costly product 2. Customer satisfaction
Low (Variable One) High (Variable One)
Product C Product D
1. Low cost products 1. Customer is not completely satisfied
2. Varieties of the product 2. Capacity of making paint is not very high

The company chosen is Asian Paints

2 Important factors –

  1. Quality of the product
  2. Customer satisfaction

2 descriptors-

  1. Limited varieties
  2. Costly product

Competitor is Nerolac Paints

2 important factors-

  1. Low cost products
  2. Varieties of the product

2 descriptors-

  1. Customer is not completely satisfied
  2. Capacity of making paint is not very high

Analysis- The quality of Asian Paints products is more viable & good & more & more people want to buy the product of Asian Paints despite of being costly products. As people also prefer to have some home solution from Asian Paints so Asian Paints helps their customers to opt for that option also. Asian Paints kept their brand name in terms of delivering the values to all the customers & people feel that buying Asian Paints will be worth spending the money on quality product.

Issues are Asian Paints products are little bit costly so not all the people prefer to buy Asian Paints & prefer to buy some other brand so they go with Nerolac or Berger. Also 100% customer satisfaction is very difficult to achieve & company wants to give their 100% in obtaining customer satisfaction.

Maintaining quality at optimum level is one of the daunting task & which is kept by Asian Paints in all manners. Leaders face many challenges in terms of delivering the quality product & hence numbers of Quality checks are brought in the picture so that there must not be any compromise in quality of the product.
