Solution:

The treatments are treated with a statistical test of comparison of
means against the hypothesis that the mean of all the variable
class is equal among the groups. This hypothesis is called the null
hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis to this statistical study
is that the mean of all the variable class is different. Hence, We
conduct the statistical test on the data and find the p-value for
the test. It is known that whenever the P-value is less than 0.05
(For 95% confidence level) the null hypothesis is rejected. Hence,
when the null hypothesis is rejected we conclude that the mean of
all the variable classes is statistically different. ( which
alternate hypothesis states). Hence, this is the inference behind
this statement that the means are statistically different.
5.2
We use 2 way ANOVA for this given data for comparison of means.
5.3
The conclusion can be drawn that there is a significant difference
in the yield performance depending on the choice of the herbicide
treatment used. hence, The Herbicide treatments will show varied
results of performance for the crop production and have different
efficiencies on the yield performance.
