Ans) We know, cumulative retained = Sum of all retained weight till current sieve  

Cumulative retained percent = (Weight on sieve/ Total weight) x 100

Percent passing = 100 - cumulative percent retained

    Following is a required sieve analysis,

Hence, following is a required plot :

Percent passing 0.01 10 Particle size (mm)Now,we know the smallest sieve through which 100% of particles passes is maximum aggregate size, So, according to given sieve analysis, maximum aggregate size = 25 mm

Also, the sieve through which more than 90% of particles passes is nominal maximum aggregate size, So, according to given sieve analysis, nominal maximum aggregate size = 9.5 mm
