IR analysis of compound A

The band at around 1600 cm-1 is due to C=C stretching

The band at around 3050 cm-1 is due to alkene CH stretching

Therefore the compound is alkene

IR analysis of compound B

The broadband at 3400 cm-1 is due to hydroxy group

The band at around 2880 - 2960 is due to aliphatic CH stretching

Based on above analysis the stricture of the compound is aliphatic alcohol
