Managers must understand IT governance as it creates control and monitoring protecting the system from misuse or any manipulation. With IT governance, the performance of the system and process can be increased as rules and regulations are clear. From ethical perspective, it creates transparency and responsible accounting as proper records are available to check and evaluate. Sarbanes - Oxley act is for proper financial reporting and recording of business accounts and following compliance to avoid any misuse or false reporting of business and frauds.

Ethical lessons in mentioned scriptures advise on following the values of truth, to have honest practices with clarity and personal accountability. IT governance regulates the IT functions for systematic use of the processes and reducing any risks, preventing errors and loss.
