The tools do we need to automate the systems and networks are:
DevOps tools for monitoring executions of repeated jobs
Prometheus - open-source service monitoring system powers DevOps teams’ metrics and alerting
Ranorex - GUI test automation framework for testing of desktop, web-based and mobile applications
Network Configuration Manager to automate network management tasks such as managing the network changes and backing them up.

The 4 essential things we need to monitor are:
a) Change management to push approved, standardized configuration changes and other programmatic changes to devices in minutes. Change Manager tools do this easily.
b) Change tracking - Improve the reliability by automating the configuration monitoring to detect and reverse unwanted configuration changes. Change Manager tools detect the device configurations and changes and alerts admin to changes.
c) Compliance auditing - to automate the policy compliance using continuous configuration auditing and remediation. Network Compliance Manager helps to manage the compliance int eh network.
d) Backing up - Automating backups. Backup tools can automate the backup process needed to be done manually by the admin.
