This practice will aid you in creating an ERD diagram. Explaining the entities the relationships and all the cardinalities that your business holds. Write up a database application to solve a business problem. This is to describe the nature of the problem or a solution to the problem. You are able to use any business as your written ERD diagram ie: a Lifetime Fitness gym, any college school, a pet store, a car distribution center, a super market.
Ex: Super market: you can write about ENTITITES + relationships include Vendor to Distribution center to etc.
Include five to seven entities as well as the relations of it : one to one, one to many, many to many
(DBMS) Type up TWO to FOUR pages proposal (in any Word document) that includes all below
1 the intended problem for application to address.
2) displays/list the involved attributes and asw well with the entities along with the types of data
3) display the business rules, cardinalities/relations that are involved with the entit. constraint, attributes if there are any. If there's null fields explain why
4) include the descriptions of the ERD diagrams P/F (primary and foreign) keys, as well as the constraints and the relationships
5) and lastly outline your applications functionality. Ex: what can the users do with this application, what the application serves . Explain.
Proposal should have between 5 and 7 entities, and include the (multiple) relations (One to one, one to many, many to many etc )
Consider the School Database with the following Entities
1.Student
2. Class
3.Teacher
4. Guardian
5.Fee Details
Relationships:
1.Each Class has many Students(one- many)
2.Each Student has one Guardian(one-one)
3. One teacher can teach in several classes and in one class several teachers can teach different subjects(many-Many)
4.One Student can be taught by many teachers and one teacher can teach many students(Many-Many)
5.Each student pays the fee every month (one -many)
Below is the ERD Diagram with underlined attributes as primary keys, outlined attributes as foreign keys

QUESTION 1 1. Use the following business rules to draw the fully labeled Crow's Foot ERD in Visio. The diagram must include all entities, attributes, and relationships. Primary keys and foreign keys must be clearly identified on the diagram. Write all appropriate connectivities and cardinalities on the ERD. a). Each city may have many sport teams. The number of teams is limited to 20 per city. b). Each team belongs to one and only city. c). Each team has at...

For this DATABASE homework assignment you will create an Entity Relationship model for a business case and then convert the model to a set of relations. Read through the following business case for the “Drum Corps International” Create an Entity relationship model with the necessary entities, attributes, identifiers and relationships to capture the data requirements. All relationships should be labeled with verb phrases. Use UML notation for this work. Relationship lines should not cross. ...
Written Assignment#1: Preliminary Database Design Preliminary Database Design The purpose of this project is to give you some experience in database design. We will explore both theoretical and practical aspects of the database design steps. Once you master it well, it is a simple matter of translating the theoretical concepts you developed into the terms of a concrete DBMS to implement the database. Conceptual/Logical Database Design You must choose some facet of real life that you feel needs to be...
You are asked to design a data model for The Wagging Tail, an online store that sells products for dogs, e.g. dog collars, dog food, dog toys, dog treats, etc. You want to keep track of three entities: (1) the products that the store sells, (2) customers who purchase the products, and (3) the orders that are made on the website. Draw an ERD diagram and use the following information to help guide your drawing: The database should keep track...

What’s A Matter University (good old Whatsamatter U) is developing a database to manage academic issues. You are asked to assist in the design of the database. Sketch the Entity-Relationship diagram for each of the following business needs. Your answer must adhere to the following guidelines: a) You need to provide a separate E-R diagram for each of the questions, not a single diagram that addresses all five questions; b) Although each question is to be answered with a separate...
Q1.a) Based on the business rules, you are expected to construct
an Entity-Relationship (ER) diagram. The ER diagram should include
entities, attributes (if there are less than three specified in the
business statements, please add some extra attributes), identifiers
and corresponding data types, the relationships among entities with
cardinality and associative entities.
.b) Extend Q1.a) to apply generalization/specialization
technique to construct an Enhanced-ER (EER) diagram. The EER
diagram should specify the complete (total) and disjoint
(mutuallyexclusive) constraints on the
generalization/specialization....
