One of the strategies Intel has pursued recently was to develop their own testers in-house instead of buying these expensive equipment from suppliers. Now, there are PROS/CONS to developing these testers in-house. Please give it some thought & respond to the following question:

Pros:

1. Have complete control over the process.

2. More familiar with the process.

3. Can monitor easily.

4. Can implement changes fastly.

Cons:

1. Expensive (Licenses for tools and technologies and infrastructure is costly).

2. Responsible for training and moulding specialists.

3. Focus will deviate from core business.
