Need help understanding what to do in this lab!!
INSTRUCTIONS:b Write an assembler program that will calculate the factorial of an integer value inputted by the user. Your program should detect if an overflow occurs. If no overflow occurred, then print out the value of the factorial otherwise print out a message indicating that an overflow occurred.
COMMENTS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED SO I CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT IS DONE!!

Write a program(Python language for the following three questions), with comments, to do the following: Ask the user to enter an alphabetic string and assign the input to a variable str1. Print str1. Check if str1 is valid, i.e. consists of only alphabetic characters. If str1 is valid Print “<str1> is a valid string.” If the first character of str1 is uppercase, print the entire string in uppercase, with a suitable message. If the first character of str1 is...

(1) Write a program that prompts the user to enter an integer value N which will rpresent the parameter to be sent to a function. Use the format below. Then write a function named CubicRoot The function will receive the parameter N and return'its cubic value. In the main program print the message: (30 Points) Enter an integer N: [. ..1 The cubic root of I.. ] is 2 update the code om part and write another function...
For this lab, write a program that lets the user enter a state and the program returns that state's capital, stored in a dictionary Requirements: Start by hard coding in all of the states and their capitals the user should be able to enter the name of a state or ask for all states to be printed (one key/value pair per line) If the state is in the dictionary, print its state capital in the form: "The capital of Vermont...
The task will be to write a program in assembler to enter a number and calculate its associated Fibonacci number using a procedure (subroutine) that is called recursively. Factorial and Fibonacci(outline Programs) # MIPS assembly assembly assemblyassemblycode .data n: .word 4 .text main: la $s0,n lw $a0, 0($s0) jal factorial # move what ever is returned into $a0 move $a0, $v0 li $v0,1 syscall b finished factorial: add $sp , $sp , -8 # make room sw $a0, 4($sp )...
Write an assembly language program to do the following, and run it and test it on the lab simulator: Read in integers until a zero is read in. Keep a total of both the quantity and the sum of the negative integers and the positive integers. Once a zero is read in (signifying the end of the input) then: • If there were more positive than negative integers, or an equal number, print out a 0 and the sum of...
CSC 130 Lab Assignment 8 – Program Menu Create a C source code file named lab8.c that implements the following features. Implement this program in stages using stepwise refinement to ensure that it will compile and run as you go. This makes it much easier to debug and understand. This program presents the user a menu of operations that it can perform. The choices are listed and a prompt waits for the user to select a choice by entering a...
Wrote a program called ExceptionalDivide that asks the user for 2 integer values and displays the quotient of the first value divided by the second value. Make sure the your program reads in the two input values as ints. Your program must catch either of two exceptions that might arise and crash your program java.util.InputMismatchException //wrong data type inputted java.lang.ArithmeticException //divide by zero error Once you catch these exceptions, your program must print out a message explaining what happened and...
I need help with the following. I need to write a program code in Java using NetBeans. It is from How to Program Java book Chapter 2. This program should calculate the packing of Candles. First read: The number of candles The number of candles that fit in each case Then calculate and print: The number of full cases The number of candles left over (partial case) If this order is large (more than 5 full cases needed) An extra...
Hello. I just need help with my c++ code. Write a program that: Creates an integer variable AND an integer pointer variable Ask the user to input an integer value Store the value in the integer variable Print the address of the variable. Make the pointer variable point at the integer value Print the value pointed to by the pointer Print the address of the pointer
