Answer #1

answer : 1 ) 1.0 L of H2 at STP has largest number of gas particles

Explanation

1 and 2)

at STP 1 mol of gas has the 6.023 x 10^23 particles.

so 1.0 L H2 and 1.0 L Ar at STP has same number of gas particles.

3) for 1.0 L H2 at 27 oC and 760 mm Hg

temperature = 300 k

pressure = 1 atm

volume = 1 L

P V = n R T

1 x 1 = n x 0.0821 x 300

n = 0.0406

1 mol -----------> 6.023 x 10^23

0.0406 -------------> 2.445 x 10^22 particles

4)

1.184 x 1 = n x 0.0821 x 273

n = 0.0528

number of gas particles = 3.18 x 10^22 particles.
