In the given case, as the company is involved in the manufacturing of microwave, the company can continuously look for improvement in the energy efficiency of its microwave. This will provide the company to have a better energy efficiency of the products. At the same time, the company can also decide to look for the continuous quality control of the production that is being done both in-house and by the outsourced organization.

The main advantage of having improved energy efficiency is that this will reduce the energy consumption of the product and thus it can be used by the company to market its product better and this can also provide the company a competitive advantage over the rivals.

The benefit of continuous monitoring of the production quality will make sure that there is no defective production as this will reduce the cost incurred in maintenance, service, and replacement of the defective products
