The mid point of 2 points having coordinates (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are x = (x1 + x2) / 2 and y = (y1+y2) / 2

Therefore 9 = (10 + x2) / 2. Therefore x2 = 8

and 8 = (10 + y2)/2. Therefore y2 = 6

The coordinates of R are (8,6) ---- Option (a)
