First four equations belongs to combination reaction which means two elements or compounds merge together to give a single compound as a product .
1) K+Cl2=> KCl
Since there are 2 Cl atoms on reactant side and only one Cl atom on product side therefore we have to balance the equation by making KCl as 2KCl . After this there will be 2 atoms of K on product side therefore we will make K as 2K on reactant side so as to balance whole reaction.
2K + Cl2 --> 2KCl
2 ) Zn + O2=> ZnO
Since there are 2 O atoms on reactant side and only one O atom on product side therefore we have to balance the equation by making ZnO as 2ZnO. After this there will be 2 atoms of Zn on product side therefore we will make Z as 2Zn on reactant side so as to balance the equation.
2Zn + O2--> 2ZnO
3) BaO + H2O-> Ba( OH)2
every atom of each element on reactant side is equal to the atoms of each element on product side therefore there is no need to balance the equation since it is already balanced.
4) SO3 + H2O--> H2SO4
Every atom of each element on reactant side is equal to the atoms of each element on product side therefore there is no need to balance the equation since it is already balanced.
# as per HomeworkLib guidelines I am supposed to answer only first four subparts of the question so plz post them separately.
