In a parcel delivery drone, the drone is programmed to drop a 500 g bag of seeds to hit a uniform barrier 40.0 cm long and 8.00 kg in mass, pivoted at its base, as shown in the figure. The bag hits the barrier 15.0 cm from its upper end, at an angle of 20o below the horizontal and at a speed of 3.50 m / s. Upon impact, the seed bag instantly comes to rest and then falls vertically to the ground.
