Answer #1

(A) is Glucose (which is starting material for glycolysis)

(B) is Hexokinase enzyme (which convert glucose into glucose-6-phosphate)

(C) is glucose-6-phosphate (in which phosphate group is attached at 6th position)

(D) is phosphoglucose isomerase (which converts glucose-6-phosphate to fructose-6-phosphate).

(E) is fructose - 6-phosphate (having carbonyl group at 2nd carbon)

(F) is fructose-1,6biphosphate (formed by fructose-6-phosphate by the enzyme phosphofructokinase)

(G) is dihydroxy acetone phosphate (in which carbonyl group is in the middle).

(H) is glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate (having aldehyde group).
