Answer #1

the formula for pH and pOH is given by:

pH = -log[H+]

pOH = -log[OH-]

where [H+] and [OH-] denote the concentration of H+ ions and OH- ions in the solution respectively

Also pH  and pOH are related as follows:

pH  + pOH = 14

Given

[OH-]=6.4*10-3 M

Therefore

pOH = -log[6.4*10-3 ]

pOH = 2.19

using the relation pH  + pOH = 14 , we calculate the pH

pH  = 14 - pOH

pH  = 14 - 2.19

pH  = 11.81

So your answer is

pOH = 2.19

pH  = 11.81
