2nt = mλ. This is for constructive interference of 545 nm as given in the problem

(2)(1.38)(t) = (1)(545 X 10-9)

t = 1.97 X 10-7 m

This answer can aslo be stated in different ways, they are .197 μm or 197 nm. All three answers are the same using different metric prefixes.
