The programmer has failed to implement the encryption of data in use.

Encryption of data is the process in which the data is encoded so that the data is hidden from the users which not authorised or from the malicious user, the encryption of data helps to protect private information, sensitive data and to enhance security between communications.

RAM is the random access memory which stores the data which is in use that is its volatile.

The malicious user was able to retrieve this data from RAM because programmer didn't implement the encryption of data in use.
