Lateral cuneiform

It falls between front row between cuboid and intermediate cuneiform.it is wedge shaped

The other tarsals are cuboid , navicular,medial and intermediate bones

They form the weight bearing platform they articulate posteriorly with navicular and anteriorly with metatarsals they help to form transverse arch of foot .

The tarsals bone are 7 in number
