Capacitance is given by the relation:

C = ke0A/d

where k = dielectric constant = 3

e0 = permittivity of free space = 8.854 x 10-12

A = area = (40x40)*10-4m2 = 0.16 m2

d = separation = 0.30mm = 0.3 x 10-3 m

Plugging in the data we get:

C = 1.4 x 10-8 F
