this is actually straightforward:

take moments about the point on the bar where b and z intersect it, thus removing b and z.

then we have:

A x g x (5 + 8.5 + 5.5) = [0.90 x g x (8.5 + 5.5)] + [2.03 x g x 5.5] (g cancels)

A = (12.6 + 11.165) / 19

A = 1.25 kg
