Network security solutions Network security is the activity which is implemented to protect or secure the integrity and usability of your data and network. Network security layer implements controls and polices. 1) VPN - (virtual private Network): - VPN secures out - of - office connection with some access specifiers and control policies. Authenticated users or Autuorized user sessions from outside the office, ensures data confidential between internet transit Remote access VPN - uses the security sockets or IPses to authenticates the communication between network and device. Virtual private network encrypts connection from endpoint to a network through out the internet. Firewalls - Firewalls is the barrier between trusted internal network and untrusted network , like as Internet. Firewall can be software , hardware or both. Firewall can use to allow or block traffic for this purpose it defines a set of rules. It protects workstations and servers from host including connection flooding , protocol anomalies , denial - of - service. 1) proxy server: - Proxy server exist in the same machine as firewall or it may be seperate server. Proxy server is the software System , which is running on computer that is intermediary between endpoint device. Earlier most proxies are web servers.
