Write the signature for a method that will perform the computation described below. You do not need to write the body of the method.

1. Find the concatenation of String values entered from the keyboard that ends with a given sentinel value. The sentinel value should not be included in the output. The Scanner used to read the values is not constructed in the method.

Answer #1

A signature of the method is merely declaration of a method used to define a method when there are more than one method with the same name with different parameters (function overloading)

Here they have asked to write the signature of a method which accepts 2 strings and a sentinel value and concatenate it.

public string Concatenate Strings (string str1, string str2) {

}

Here two strings that is required to be concatenated are passed as parameters of the function. Also I have given the data type of the function as string because the function would be returning the concatenated string.

Now both the strings will be entered through the keyboard and end of the string will be marked by a sentinel value and those strings taken as input is passed in the function as parameters.

    In this lab, you complete a partially written Java program that includes methods that require multiple parameters (arguments). The program prompts the user for two numeric values. Both values should be passed to methods named calculateSum(), calculateDifference(), and calculateProduct(). The methods compute the sum of the two values, the difference between the two values, and the product of the two values. Each method should perform the appropriate computation and display the results. The source code file provided for this lab...

    Solve it by JAVA please. Now, write a class named InputSplitter. This class will take input from the keyboard (using a Scanner) and split the incoming tokens into integers, floating point numbers, and strings. The incoming tokens will be added to one of three accumulators which start out at zero, and which keep a running total. Thus, the class will have an accumulator for integers. It starts out with the value zero. Every time another integer is read in, it...
