Task analysis is a process through various learning objectives are achieved. In the process of task analysis, the activities of an ordinary user is being observed. Method of execution of task by them is being studied.

This learning is further implied in some other action. In the process of task analysis we include each and every single detail of different actions performed. It can be understood through an example of task analysis of brushing teeth.

This task analysis is as following:-

1. We take brush.

2. Cap of toothpaste tube is being removed.

3. Toothpaste is applied on brush.

4. Cap of toothpaste tube is closed.

5. We rinse mouth with water.

6. We start brushing teeth.

7. Bottom teeth are brushed on left and right sides.

8. Top teeth are brushed on left and right sides.

9. Front and back part of top teeth are brushed.

10. Front and back part of bottom teeth are brushed.

11. We again rinse our mouth with water.

12. We clean tongue with tongue cleaner.

13. We spit in sink.

14. We again rinse our mouth with water and spit in sink one more time.

15. We keep brush back in holder.

16. We wash our face.

17. After washing face, the face is being wiped by a dry towel.

18. Sink is being cleaned in the end.
