The unit load is the combination of small units which are kept together. These small items combine to make one unit. This is done since it is easier to stock, count and maintains the inventories. Many items have huge quantity of volumes and unit loading helps in stocking these items. These unit loads are stacked on pallets which are then transported.The distribution operations is more easier when done with unit loading.
