Question 1:

Organization Development:

The organization development is a process in which it focuses to change the policies, leadership, job redesigning etc to ensure and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Through change the performance of the organization increases and which lead towards the development and success of the organization.

The organization development and its importance is given below:

  1. The organization culture changes which will impact the employee to identify and adapt towards new changes. As that make the organization towards increased development and helps the company to sustain longer in the market.
  2. The organization strategy changes so that it helps to identify the policy change etc so that decision and actions can be made according to that which impact on the organization development and leads the company towards success.
  3. The organization climate changes which helps the employees to adapt towards the work environment as where that create uniqueness and differentiation at the workplace and impact towards the organization development.
  4. The employee’s satisfaction increases and they will be committed towards work and ensure the success of the organization.

The following are the steps of OD practitioner to make OD a success:

  1. A proper communication needs to be done by the OD practitioner to make the OD a success, where from the top management till the lower level management should understand the purpose of change and it should be clearly communicated.
  2. OD practitioner should be responsible to deliver on the outcome and the success of OD, so that it is important to research and analyze on the same.
  3. A proper planning and decision needs to be taken from the OD practitioner to achieve the goal as that impact towards the success of OD.
  4. An action plans with training needs to be considered by the OD practitioner so that easy adaptation of change helps towards the success of OD.

Ethics:

Ethics can be defined as set of values, behaviors, morals etc which an organization believes which is good for its operation and followed by its people.

The following are the role of manager and organization to address the level of the ethical issues:

1. Develops on positive and healthy work culture, as where the employees would adapt to the ethical values and norms as to create on ethical work environment.

2. Ethics is important to retain on the top talents of the organization, so that the business could further develop in the market. So the manager needs to retain the top talents to standardised the work performance and there will not be any ethical issues.

3. The standardization of the business increases in the market through high influence on the culture of the company, as where only ethics can promote the company to sustain in the market for longer. So that the manager and the organization needs to focus more on the culture to resolve on any ethical issues.

4. The policy needs to be set and the employers should ensure on their employees to understand on the need of time to be utilized in the workplace. The training can be provided to the employees to make them understand on important of time. So the employees will not cretae any ethical issues at the work place.

5. The employers should monitor on the employees work and ensure they complete the work, so that ensure the satisfaction and encourage the employees to increase their performance.

6. Enagaging with employees will build good team bonding and avoid conflict in the team and encourage them to achieve the goal of the organization. So that the manager need to engage their employees. A good communication builds a good relationship and motivate the employees to share their views and ideas for decision making and creates an ethical work standards.

7. The manager and the organization needs to develop a safety work environment to avoid on any accidents. So safety and security needs to be concerned by the manager and a healthy work place has to be cretaed to avoid on any ethical issues.
