Commonly used street light in US is sodium-vapour light (rated around 150W on an average). A solar powered LED street light is rated at 60W on an average. Life span of 150W street light is maximum 2 years in best case, whereas LED solar street light life span is between 10-15 years. In order to answer your question we will have to see the operational cost per hour including the purchase price. For the mentioned ratings of respective lights, I see that solar one costs around 40-200 USD whereas sodium-vapour comes around 100-200 USD. Now, considering entire operational lifetime of these lights, the operational cost came out to be 0.03 USD per hour for sodium light whereas 0.002 USD per hour for LED solar light. Considering the time range defined by you (6pm-5am, i.e. 11 hours) normal street light would cost around 0.33 USD whereas solar light would cost around 0.022 USD. So within that time range you would have a profit of 0.308USD by using solar light. However, keep in mind that sodium lamp requires more maintenance cost and would have to be replaced after 2 years. So if we evaluate the cost benefit for two years, the profit in using solar light would be around 20 USD.
Normal Street light have a certain cost and a solar street light also. I need to...
I am doing solar tracking system project: and there will be inverter and charger controller in circuits so my quesation is I want to genertarte power to light up 1-2 led lights and one USB port as phone charger so how can I know how much volte do i NEED and how can I chooes the right solar panel
I need help finding and explaining article from WSJ. I have to use The Wall Street Journal to show that markets go from one equilibrium to another over time?
I need to work out a traffic light controllers sequential logic
using d flip flops. There are only 2 lights; Side street and Main
street. The input has the clock, long timer (20s) and short timer
(4s). The output is the codes required to change the light. The
side street HAS to be green when the main street is red to let cars
through. I have included the next state table and state diagram but
am unsure how group the...

4. Speed of Light. Light travels through space at an incredible speed, 186,282 miles per second. How far does light travel through space in one hour? (This is the speed of light in miles per hour.) How far does light travel in one year? (This distance is a light-year.) 5. Interplanetary Communication. The average distance between the planet Mars and the Earth is 100 million miles. Hi, I need help with AVR Assembler language I need to do a
traffic light project, with a RIP sensor and 3 LEDs. I guess I have
to set the sensor like there is no motion detected at first and the
red led on, then when motion detected, turn the yellow led on for
some time and then the green. Problem is that it has to be in
assembler language and I don't know how to start. This is how...

I need to know how to use R to count certain values in a variable. Example design code to look in a table for the variable Cars and count in the rows if they are suburu or ford out of a sample of 15.
I don’t understand why it says "these supplies would have cost
$1,875 if purchased under normal circumstances".
Do these $1,875 go anywhere on the balance sheet? Why is that
included in the question?
Until now i’m guessing just need to add $18,000 to accounts
payable and subtract $1,000 from cash. Is that all?
Thank you in advance,
Best,
Riccardo

A solar cell can be constructed by depositing copper(II) sulfide from an aqueous solution directly onto certain n-type silicon semiconductors. The precipitation of CuS may be represented by the following unbalanced equation: In one experiment, a 22.2 mm by 15.5 mm solar cell was prepared using 6.00 mL of 0.105 M thioacetamide and 2.00 mL of 0.101 M copper(II) acetate (the source of the Cu^2+ ions). a. Write the balanced chemical equation, including...
