Very popular actresses often note that after appearing on the cover of Vogue, their popularity diminishes. This may be explained by which threat to intnernal validity? (ANSWER)

This may be explained by the means of 'Maturation' threat to internal validity. In this case, the normal growth or maturation is seen as being caused by the experiment that is being conducted. The popularity of the actress is meant to go down after the peak and that normal maturation is being confused with having some correlation with being on the cover of the magazine. This is the threat to internal validity that needs to be dealt with in this case.
