Advantages of using Deep Lane storage :

1. It is easy to automate and compatible with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) which in turn reduces the Labour cost.

2. Large amount of goods can be stored.

3. Maximizing warehouse space.

Disadvantages of using Deep Lane storage :

1. High investment in cost, equipment and time.

2. It is very difficult to alter the existing operation when there is a need for an expansion.

3. It is highly problematic if there is any disruption in the existing operation, since it cost so much time and effort to rectify.
