1 Ginseng increases the concentration of nitric oxide. the reason for this is because in order to be there more cGMP, there needs to be more NO to activate guanylyl cyclase.

2. the effect on PDE5 is as follows : PDE5 breaks down cGMP inhibiting cGMPs ability to turn on PKG which lead to an erection. must BLOCK the activity of PDEtherefore enhancing the activity of cGMP.

3. Some protein downstream of GC and PDE5 must be broken.
