Research a company you are familiar with either in person or online and determine what the company uses as a source document to input data into their ERP system. Examples could be a purchase order or new account form. Explain what the forms are used for and determine if the same documents can be used for a manufacturing company and a retail or service company.

Ans : The Company i am familiar uses uses the hard copy of invoices , purchase requisition , supply order to enter the procurement of goods and services related information in the ERP System , request forms from employee for entering the employee related data entry into the ERP System. In case of banking data the money receipts and bank statements are used as a source document for the data entry in ERP.  

The Source documents like supply order , material requisition note , goods received invoices can also be used by the manufacturing concern for the data entry in ERP. Similarly such other documents as shown above can also be used by manufacturing division & Service industry for the data entry in the ERP System.
