suppose we have two classes here "student" and "demo". student class has only two properties student name and student age. as you can see that we have overridden the toString() method in student class itself. in the demo class we are storing the student object in ArrayList and then we iterated the ArraayList using the advance for loop.
student class
package beginnersbook.com;
public class Student
{
private String studentname;
private int studentage;
Student(String name, int age)
{
this.studentname=name;
this.studentage=age;
}
@Override
public String toString() {
return "Name is: "+this.studentname+" & Age is: "+this.studentage;
}
}
demo class
package beginnersbook.com;
import java.util.ArrayList;
public class Demo
{
public static void main(String [] args)
{
ArrayList<Student> al= new ArrayList<Student>();
al.add(new Student("Chaitanya", 26));
al.add(new Student("Ajeet", 25));
al.add(new Student("Steve", 55));
al.add(new Student("Mary", 18));
al.add(new Student("Dawn", 22));
for (Student tmp: al){
System.out.println(tmp);
}
}
}
in place of these names you can easily put the array to store it in the values beween 0,1,2,...n-1

Modification to be completed by group member 4: In the processLineOfData method, write the code to handle case "M" of the switch statement such that: A Manager object is created using the firstName, lastName, salary, and bonus local variables. Notice that salary and bonus need to be converted from String to double. You may use parseDouble method of the Double class as follows: Double.parseDouble(salary) Call the parsePaychecks method in this class passing the Manager object created in the previous step...
Create a class called Flower. Add one member variables color. Add only one getter function for the color. The get function returns color. Implement a constructor that expects color value and assigns it to the member variable. Create a subclass of Flower named Rose. The Rose class has one member variable name. Add a constructor which expects color and name. Pass color to the base constructor and set name to it's member variable.Write a program that has an array of ...
Using Java programming to answer this question. Write a method countLines(String inFilename) of a class FileUtility which reads a binary byte file with name inFilename using FileInputStream. The method returns the no. of lines containing comments starting with "//" with optional spaces (but not other characters) before it. Each line is terminated by '\n'. You may write other methods if necessary. Handle possible exception by outputting a suitable message if an exception occurs.
This is a C++ program Instructions Design a class named PersonData with the following member variables declared as strings: lastName firstName address city state zip phone Create 3 constructors; a default constructor, a constructor that accepts the first and last name member variables, and a constructor that accepts all member variables. Write the appropriate accessor/getter and mutator/setter functions for these member variables. Create a method within this class called getFullName() that returns the person's first and last names as a...
File Factorials.java contains a program that calls the factorial method of the MathUtils class to compute the factorials of integers entered by the user. In this program, two things can possibly occur: The program always returns 1 if negative integers are entered by the user. Returning 1 as the factorial of any negative integer is not correct. The program also returns negative numbers when the user enters integers greater than 16. Returning a negative number for values over 16 also...
Define a class named Payment that contains an instance variable "paymentAmount" (non-static member variable) of type double that stores the amount of the payment and appropriate accessor (getPaymentAmount() ) and mutator methods. Also create a method named paymentDetails that outputs an English sentence to describe the amount of the payment. Override toString() method to call the paymentDetails() method to print the contents of payment amount and any other details not included in paymentDetails(). Define a class named CashPayment that is...
C++ Programming Step 1. Design a new ADT that implements a class named Date, add 3 private member variables month, day, year along with their appropriate public constructor / getter / setter member functions inside Date.h and Date.cpp. Step 2. Design another ADT that implements a class named Watch, add 3 private member variables hour, minute, second, along with their appropriate public constructor / getter / setter member functions inside Watch.h and Watch.cpp. Step 3. Next, implement the additional SmartWatch...
Java 1. Create an application named NumbersDemo whose main() method holds two integer variables. Assign values to the variables. In turn, pass each value to methods named displayTwiceTheNumber(), displayNumberPlusFive(), and displayNumberSquared(). Create each method to perform the task its name implies. 2. Modify the NumbersDemo class to accept the values of the two integers from a user at the keyboard. This is the base code given: public class NumbersDemo { public static void main (String args[]) { // Write your...
In Java, Implement a class MyArray as defined below, to store an array of integers (int). Many of its methods will be implemented using the principle of recursion. Users can create an object by default, in which case, the array should contain enough space to store 10 integer values. Obviously, the user can specify the size of the array s/he requires. Users may choose the third way of creating an object of type MyArray by making a copy of another...
In the processLineOfData method, write the code to handle case "H" of the switch statement such that: • An HourlyEmployee object is created using the firstName, lastName, rate, and hours local variables. Notice that rate and hours need to be converted from String to double. You may use parseDouble method of the Double class as follows: Double.parseDouble(rate) Call the parsePaychecks method in this class passing the Hourly Employee object created in the previous step and the checks variable. Call the...
