Answer #1

12)

Answer)

Z score indicated the number of standard deviation away the given score from mean is

Z = (x - mean)/s.d

Given mean = 33

S.d = 12

Z = (69 - 33)/12

Z = 3

So, 69 is 3 standard deviation above the mean

13)

Mean = 17.7

S.d = 2.1

Z = (20.2 - 17.7)/2.1

Z = 1.19

No it is not unusual as it is not greater than 2 and not less than -2
