2. The Case of Henry Henry was a 30-year-old construction worker. He had many friends as he was a mild-mannered and likeable person. While on the job, Henry's coworkers began to notice that his balance was visibly poor. Henry used to be able to lift heavy objects easily and carry them to other parts of a site, but now he would stumble every few steps during these tasks. Henry himself also noticed that when trying to grasp an tool or door knob he might misjudge how far away it was, and have to try several times to get ahold of it. He also began falling frequently while on the job. Henry's friends away from work even noticed some strange changes in Henry's ability to maintain eye contact, even though his personality remained intact. He also demonstrated some slurring in his speech when trying to say difficult words. A word like "Saturday" might come out as Salad- day." However, he didn't seem to have trouble with language in terms of word selection, writing, reading, or understanding speech. Upon seeing a neurologist, several lesions were discovered on Henry's brain. Through physical therapy Henry was able to regain some function.

Answer- The part of the brain that has been affected in Henry's case is the cerebellum. The cerebellum is responsible for controlling movements and balance in the body. It is situated at the back of the head. It is also responsible for maintaining the body's posture as well as equilibrium. Viral infections or possible brain damage can cause one to lose coordination and balance.
