CPA nowadays have to be effective communicators with public. It is because:-

1. When they act as an auditor, they need to hold meetings with their staff with respect to mentoring juniors about how to do audit.

2. During the audit, they need to engage with clients at various level to get the information relevant for audit.

3. Audit findings need to be communicated to Board of Directors and other key personals

4. Presenting audit report to shareholders during annual general meetings.

5. Handling queries from top management, government officials etc regarding business information of client.

Hence, they need to act as social communicators during these situations.
