Three reasons why ignorance of political matters are sometime very important are

1. At times we get focussed to much on the political matters which greatly affects our daily routine. We tend to modify our daily work schedule based on the political matters that we hear. So, at certain times ignorance of these political matters are highly essential.
2. Most of the political matters that we hear does not come to pass, most of the times. So ignorance of political matters is required, to concentrate on our goals.
3. Most of the political news, that does rounds are always not true. Those news could be rumors most of the times. Those news could be spread by some fringe groups for their political gain. We being ignorant of those news at certain times holds us in good stead. Being ignorant of such news also helps us to stay focussed on our goals and work towards them.

Part 2)

Special interest greatly affects the tax policy in the United states.

There is always a struggle between the public policy in the taxation and the policies of the special interest groups.

1. At times the special interest groups keeps a check on the tax polices framed for the public interest, by not allowing them to be biased on one side. The existence of the special interest groups, most of the times help to maintain a balance while framing the tax policies.
2. The special interest groups helps to maintain the privileges and the special treatments offered to a certain section of the society.
3. Due to the activities of the special interest groups sometimes, they pose a hurdle to bring about the original tax reforms.
4. In the past, the special interest groups have had victories, in forming the taxation policies. Hence the government has to take into consideration the demands of the special interest groups while forming the taxation policies.
